Life, it’s a simple, short word, even a kid has not any burden to mention it. But then, have we ever put ourselves in a deep rumination to search the true meaning of life?
Literally, life means “the condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally”.
In Philosophy, the meaning of life is deeply mixed with the philosophical and religious conceptions of existence, consciousness, and happiness, and touches on many other issues, such as symbolic meaning, ontology, value, purpose, ethics, good and evil, free will, conceptions of God, the existence of God, the soul, and the afterlife. it seems to be more confusing, anyway, that’s the Philosophy created for.
the truth is “If there is a life there must be a death”. Every living thing, including human will die when the time comes, nobody can deny it. There want’ be any exception; who ever he/she is, whatever he/she is; Madona will die, Barrack Obama will die, SBY will die, me myself will die, and you will. Means we are nothing; we, sons of the water, earth and sun, are no more than small straw, foetus of the cosmic diaspora, scraps of solar existence, insignificant sprouts of the earth’s existence.
What if we make it simple. Life is our only chance to make something wonderful to be remembered, something too sweet to be forgotten by everyone if we are no longer settling in this artificial world, this is the true meaning of life actually. So, I am trying to say that the true meaning of Life are “beneficence,goodness,kindliness,kindness, and virtue”, they make us be remembered and honored after our death, until then, we’ll get the true meaning of our lives.
